This is an original Aladdin lamp sales tag for a clear crystal, plain stem, Washington drape lamp. The clear crystal plain stem Washington drape lamp was manufactured from 1941-1953, and the date mentioned on the tag itself concerning the retail ceiling prices is Sept. 18, 1943. It's hard to imagine a paper tag like this one surviving for 76 years! (as of 2019). Not only is the cardboard tag still intact but so is the string for attaching it to the lamp itself. Items like these are often overlooked by collectors even though they are much more rare than the lamps themselves.
